Ova is about conception. Blue and green sperm are swimming, trying to break into the ova. The images that surround the ova are representative of earth cycles of night and day and the elements of fire, water, earth and air that are necessary to sustain life.

 

Ova is a framed piece that was first exhibited in the April 1998, U of T Thesis Art Show, 13@360° along with The Old Fart (at the 360° Art Gallery, in Toronto, Ontario).
