Swan Lake is about lake and water pollution. I wasn’t that long ago that I had learnt how many lakes have died (can no longer support life) because of acid rain and mismanagement of hazardous waste.
At the top left are factory smoke stacks clouding our skies, suffocating us. Part of the us I am referring to are the flora and fauna (on the right in pinks and greens), there are also flamingos there if you can see them in this wetlands environment.
Below is the lake bed with our little human species in a fetal position drowning in the polluted waters of our own doing.
There is also the hope that mother earth will continue to nurture us until we can emerge from her womb and clean up the mess we made. |
